The device is placed on the skin and activated by gentle pressure. Tiny microneedles gently penetrate the skin and the blood is safely collected in the device. After a few minutes, the test strip inside the device is read out via the phone camera.
We were commissioned by midge medical to design this simple, safe, affordable, high- volume
antigen test device that enables testing at a fraction of the cost of currently available test alternatives.
