Die Firma ubitricity entwickelt eine flächendeckende Ladeinfrastruktur für Elektrofahrzeuge zu bezahlbaren Preisen. Formfjord unterstützt und berät ubitricity bei der Konzeption und Entwicklung sämtlicher Produkte. Dazu gehören die „SimpleSockets“ für die Wandmontage, die „SimpleSockets“ für die Integration in Lichtmasten im Stadtraum, die den einfachen und günstigen Ausbau von Ladeinfrastruktur ermöglichen und das „SmartCable“, ein intelligentes Ladekabel dass eine exakte Abrechnung unabhängig vom Ladeort gewährleistet.
Inzwischen ist das ubitricity Ladessystem zur Serienreife gebracht – Formfjord ist als Designteam von Anfang an involviert.

Ubitricity – infrastructure products for the future of mobility
In cooperation with leading industry partners, berlin-based start-up ubitricity proposes a radically simplified infrastructure for the charging of e-vehicles that will make it easy and economical to provide charging stations everywhere. Formfjord supports and advises ubitricity in the conception and development of all products such as wall mounted „SimpleSockets“, a light-pole-integrated version of the „SimpleSockets“ for use in existing light-poles in urban areas and the „SmartCable“, an intelligent cable. Ubitricity‘s e-mobility charging infrastructure is now growing rapidly. We are happy to be part of this project and to see our products claim urban space.
